Mannahatta Project
This center of one of the world’s largest and most built-up cities was once a remarkably diverse, natural landscape of hills, valleys, forests, fields, freshwater wetlands, salt marshes, beaches, springs, ponds and streams, supporting a rich and abundant community of wildlife and sustaining people for thousands of years before Europeans arrived on the scene in 1609.

The style
I try to make a handmade and wool felt style.
This style will give people a soft feeling and will be easy accept by kids.
All the animals need to be simple ( As simple as I could real make them) but also cute. In this way, the animals on the screen will be the same as the animals on my mat.

Project Statement
How might I Build an Interesting Experience for the Preschoolers?
It would be an interactive game for preschoolers with bright soft colors and cute cartoon animal characters based on the real history of Manhattan island. This game will be controlled by a soft colorful mat which including buttons in. Through pressing the buttons, kids could gain interesting feedback of the sound and animation.
